Apparently you aren't quite used to living in the past. The R69S/US (unless modified) uses a magneto ignition system. The bike doesn't need a battery to get you on your merry way. Certainly lack of a working battery is not a good reason to leave the poor bike alone. Ride out....

Trailer out......(I've got a MC trailer and Tundra crew max truck) and take one or two other bikes and or travelers with me....

Piggy back on someone else's trailer and contribute to costs and/or driving......

Ship out and back.
