The last I heard, Bruce Seely was at Michigan Tech. He's that expert on the history of the interstate highway system,-- sort of an industrial archeology type. Has he been invited to the rally?

Bruce is still at Michigan Tech. He is currently the Department Chair of the Social Sciences Department.

I heard him talk once. He was here (Mississippi State) to talk about the history of technology. I won't go there (re: technology), because that's not my area. However, for a more general audience (like me), he talked about the history of the interstate highway system. He was pretty interesting.

I did send Bruce an E-mail to see if he might be interested in giving a talk, but have not got a reply..he may be out of the area now that school is out.
