Medical-needs 'tricity

G'day, campers! Randy here, your friendly neighborhood Security chair for the Rally in da U.P. We did some scouting this past weekend, and one of the items in which I was interested was a source of 120 VAC power for those (like me) who use CPAP's or nebulizers. I'm pleased to report that there should be ample power for those who require it. Now, it has been determined that having an electric coffeemaker with you does NOT constitute a medical need. I said we have ample power for those who need it, and making your own morning coffee is not a need. There will be morning coffee available, courtesy of the RA, so please avail yourselves of that source and leave the 'tricity for those who really do need it. And since I'll be one of those folks, I'll be ensuring that policy.

Just want to make sure there is eletricty in the tent camping area.

Making plans for the rally. My riding buddy needs 110volt (1/2 amp power draw) for his sleep apnea breating machine. He would like to tent it but not sure if the eletrical is possible in tent area.

He really cannot go with out the machine.

Please confirm what is possible

There IS electricity available for those with medical needs, such as using CPAP's, etc. I use one and will be tent-camping at the rally. The power supply is adequate. The caveat is that the location is not in the same camping area as for the non-powered sites, but nearby. HTH.
