Hello campers, My name is Jeff Gehler and I am the camping Chair for the 2008 Rally in the UP. My job is to see that you have a pleasant camping experience at our rally. The best way I can do this is to answer any questions you may have before you get there concerning camping, RVing at our rally. The restroom and shower facilities, seminar, Beer garden, food, are just a short walk from any camp site. The showers and rest room facilites are just GREAT. Any questions post on the forum for all to see or you can email me for a better answer. See you at the rally. :D

Will there be an address to ship camping gear to and from the rally site?
I'm thinking I'd like to ship my stuff there to pack a little lighter for the trip.

Yeah, I think so.
Is that address at the site or do we pick our stuff up in town?

Jeff:

This is my first rally. I plan on camping on site, but a question came to mind. Since the tent area will be on the soccer fields and practice football field, will we be able to park our bikes next to our tents?

Just wondering how the Campus feels about all those bikes out on the soccer and football fields?

Yes, you will be able to park your bike next to your tent on the fields. I would recommend that you bring something to put under your sidestand. A caveat - only bikes and camper trailers pulled behind bikes will be permitted on the fields. No 4-wheeled vehicles.

dumb question -- camping "fee" is included in registration or is it extra?

...still figuring out if I can go...

Early Arrival is OK, as long as you volunteer to help out Wed and Thursday morning.
