Rounders

In my efforts to come close to being a rounder, I try to get out and ride every month of the year. After yesterday, I have fulfilled my quota for February with a beautiful ride up and down RT395. Had my powerlet jacket on 1/2 way and was pretty comfortable at 80 mph (indicated).

Got a few thumbs up from the cagers too...

Anyone else out and about?

Interesting that you posted this. I was walking out of my house en route to my office in Simsbury today. Thought to myself "I should get the Fraulein out of the garage." She's looking lonely sitting there on the can-bus charger.

I was thinking of making the monthly promise to myself too. Took her out in December but I missed last month. I am thinking that the next clear day with dry roads will be the day.

I gotten at least 1 ride in ever month for the last two years. Last month we (OSBMWR) went to Woodstock, CT for a ride. We prefer it to the bean. Not yet this month, buts its still early. This is usually the hardest month to sneak at least one ride in.

I can't believe I did not ride in February. :o 1st month I missed in two years. Oh well I guess I will have to start a new streek. :cool:

Don't know if any of you guys or gals (do we have any here yet?) are members over there, but there's a fun bunch of people over at Year Round Riders (http://www.yearroundriders.com/) :D . I've managed to "qualify" as a "Rounder" on the cold end and as a "Sweating Rounder" on the hot end.

Maybe I'll see some of you over there!
